Positions Packers should avoid in free agency: Cornerback

The Packers have tried multiple times over the years to address their cornerback position with high draft picks. This includes Eric Stokes (2021 first-round), Jaire Alexander (2018 first-round), Josh Jackson (2018 second-round), Kevin King (2017 second-round), Damarious Randall (2015 first-round) and Quinten Rollins (2015 second-round).

Thankfully, Alexander has turned into a star. He’s now the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL and has the potential to play like it as well. The jury is still out on Stokes, who had a decent rookie campaign before getting torn up in his second year before an injury ended it prematurely. They also have Rasul Douglas under contract and (hopefully) Keisean Nixon returning.
