Packers believe in Jordan Love

One of the primary reasons the Packers are keeping all Rodgers’ options on the table is the emergence of Jordan Love. Love has progressed nicely since beginning his career in the NFL and appears to have built some supporters along the way.

Gutekunst is one of those supporters. He believes Love is ready to start, “I think he’s ready to play, and I think he’s ready to be an NFL starting quarterback. He’s worked really hard, he’s shown a lot of progression. I think the next step in his progression is to play.”

One year ago, Gutekusnt didn’t talk about Love in the same manner. He certainly wasn’t negative about his prospects, but the tone has once again changed. We only saw a little bit of Love in one game this season and he was very impressive then. Maybe, they believe he’s the future.
