Packers see safety as offseason need

The Packers are in a similar position at safety. Adrian Amos, Rudy Ford and Dallin Leavitt are unrestricted free agents (although, the latter two are more special teamers than safeties). Amos is coming off the worst season of his career, and there’s no confidence in returning starter Darnell Savage.

Unlike tight end, Gutekunst did hint that changes might be made, “Our secondary is a little bit unsettled, we have a couple of safeties that are moving on that were here last year. As a whole, I really like our nucleus coming back.” That sure sounds like they expect at least two of their three free agents to move on.
