Overpaid Packers: Kenny Clark

Clark is a great player, don’t get me wrong. His spot on this list has nothing to do with his level of play, even if it has slipped the last two years under defensive coordinator Joe Barry (that’s a story for another day).

This is all about the significant cap hit the Packers are set to endure at his expense in 2023. Clark’s cap hit comes in at just under $24 million, the third-highest on the team. That is a bigger price tag than Russell Wilson, Matt Stafford, and Joe Burrow in 2023. He’s a prime restructure candidate this offseason, as Green Bay tries to create more cap space.
