Best 25-and-under Packers: Devonte Wyatt

Despite being an older rookie, Wyatt could not earn playing time early in his rookie year. It wasn’t until Dean Lowry went down with an injury late in the season that he saw regular playing time in the rotation. There was a lot to like from Wyatt during that span, and he created a lot of momentum for himself heading into the offseason. He comes in at no. 9 but could catapult up this list next year.

Best 25-and-under Packers: Quay Walker

If Wyatt went out on a high, Walker went out on a low. He was ejected in the Packers’ final regular season game against the Detroit Lions for making contact with one of their staff, the second time a similar occurrence happened in 2022. Walker has all the physical tools to succeed, but doesn’t have the mental capacity. We’ll see if he can better diagnose plays in Year 2.

Best 25-and-under Packers: Eric Stokes

Stokes had a solid rookie campaign in 2021, but I was never as high on him as others. His 2022 season was one to forget. He played in Green Bay’s first nine games before suffering a season-ending injury and was torched. He allowed 21 receptions on 25 targets for 275 yards and one touchdown without an interception or a pass breakup. That’s nasty work. He has the skills to hold his own, we just haven’t seen it so far.
