Packers on the hot seat: Sean Rhyan

The Packers have awful luck when it comes to their third-round selections. They released Amari Rodgers in the middle of the season, and might do the same with Sean Rhyan after just one year.

Rhyan, their third-round pick in 2022, didn’t play offense all year despite being fully healthy. In fact, he only saw the field for one snap on special teams.

His disappearing act was covered up by Zach Tom’s emergence and helped ease some of the bust label from Rhyan. He won’t be so lucky in Year 2, as there will be expectations he can battle for playing time. Left guard is set with Elgton Jenkins, but right guard is there for the taking if someone wants to step up.
