Free agents Packers should aggressively pursue: D.J. Chark Jr., Wide Receiver

If Green Bay wants a true high-risk, high-reward receiver, D.J. Chark Jr. is their man.

After being drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, he played the first four years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars before signing a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions last year. When healthy (he missed time again last year and only played four games in 2021), he’s a walking big play. He can spread the defense and stress them vertically and horizontally.

He will likely want a multi-year deal, but Green Bay can drive down his price due to his unavailability the last couple of seasons. If Jordan Love takes over at quarterback, Chark could help make his job easier by creating separation from opposing defensive backs.
