Homerun prospects for Packers: Tyree Wilson, Edge, Texas Tech

Another spoiler: Tyree Wilson kicks off a run of three straight edge rushers to finish this list. Edge is a position of need for Green Bay this offseason despite employing both Rashan Gary and Preston Smith. Smith is on the decline and Green Bay has a potential out after the 2024 season. They also have zero depth at the position.

At 6-foot-6, Wilson has crazy length. He’s extremely long and uses that to his advantage to disrupt the line of scrimmage. He plays with a relentless motor, always moving and attacking. That can work to his disadvantage, however, as he doesn’t have a deep bag of tools he can use to beat the man in front of him. Despite playing for four years in college, he’s still a project that needs developmental time.
