With the Super Bowl in our rearview mirror, the Green Bay Packers continue to focus on the offseason, including the 2023 NFL Draft.

As of now, they hold the 15th overall selection in the first round thanks to a disappointing 8-9 season. Depending on what happens with Aaron Rodgers, there’s a chance they can add to their first-round picks. For now, we’ll assume there are no changes and they stick at 15.

Green Bay will have an opportunity to select a difference-maker in the first half of the first round. Hopefully, one of these five players falls to them, marking a home run selection.

The Green Bay Packers would love to draft any of these five homerun prospects in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Homerun prospects for Packers: Quentin Johnson, Wide Receiver, TCU

Green Bay could use another playmaker, especially with Allen Lazard and Randal Cobb in free agency. Johnson is an athletic freak and would pair nicely alongside Christian Watson on the outside. He’s 6-foot-4, super fast and can jump out of the stadium. He has some work to do on his route-running and hands, but the raw tools are there.
