Re-grading Packers 2022 NFL Draft class after rookie years
Re-grading Packers’ fourth and fifth-round picks in 2022 NFL Draft:
Round 5, Pick 179: Kinglsey Enagbare, Edge
Enagbare filled in admirably for Rashan Gary when Gary went down with a season-ending knee injury. Over the season’s final eight games, he racked up five quarterback hits and one sack. That may not seem like a lot, but his activity off the edge was noticeable. He can build off that momentum and try to earn the third outside linebacker spot on the depth chart next season.
Grade: C+
Round 4, Pick 140: Zach Tom, OL
The Packers may have struck gold along the offensive line once again. Tom is versatile–he can play either tackle position or line up at guard. He also proved himself as a starter in his rookie year. He’s one of the Packers’ best five offensive linemen already and it will be fun to watch him grow and develop.
Grade: A
Round 4, Pick 132: Romeo Doubs, WR
Doubs lit the world on fire in training camp and preseason, generating a ton of hype. Unfortunately, he was unable to live up to the expectations he set and wasn’t as dynamic in the regular season. In 13 games, he caught 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns. That’s still a solid rookie campaign. He’s got the natural hands to continue blossoming, now he needs to work on creating separation from defensive backs.
