Defensive free agents Packers should re-sign: Adrian Amos

Amos had an embarrassing season and the worst of his career. He was a step slow physically and mentally all season long. It led to the lowest PFF grade of his career, a 20-point drop from the year before, and being graded as the 79th safety out of 89 eligible players. Yuck.

His best football may be behind him, but Green Bay should explore re-signing him for the cheap. He’s a good locker room guy and leader on the field. He’ll count for the Packers’ cap space one way or another (due to a void year), so they might as well explore re-signing him for another year or two on a cheap deal.
