Offensive tackle

The Packers’ outlook at offensive tackle is very solid for the upcoming season and the long-term future.

David Bakhtiari will likely need to restructure his contract, but he’s still a very good left tackle when he’s healthy. We’ll see how much longer he holds up. When he does miss games, restricted free agent Yosh Nijman filled in admirably for him. Nijman was exposed as he received more playing time, but he is still a suitable backup.

Zach Tom surprisingly stepped up as a capable right tackle and solidifies the starting spots. He should only get better with more experience. Lastly, Caleb Jones and Rasheed Walker are nice developmental projects that could turn into quality players down the road.
