6 positions Packers must address in 2023 offseason
Safety
The Packers’ safety position quickly turned into a mess. It looked secure just last offseason with Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage as the starters.
Both players are coming off career-worst seasons and have zero confidence from the coaching staff or fans. Savage could be a trade candidate just so the Packers can get off the $7 million they owe him in 2023. Amos is a free agent and it’s unclear if he’ll return.
That leaves Green Bay with very few options for the position. They’ll have to turn to free agency and the draft to beef up the back end of their secondary.
