Top Free Agent Wide Receivers for Packers: Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

Thomas is a shadow of his former self–the guy who put up four straight 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career, including a whopping 1725 yards and 149 receptions in 2019.

He’s missed most of the last three seasons, but will only be 30 years old when the 2023 campaign begins. Does he still have enough left in the tank to be worth a flier?

Green Bay could sign him to a one-year deal to see what he has left. This is a weak free agent class at the wide receiver position, and it could be one of the only paths to an upgrade. In the three games he played in 2022, he caught 16 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns, suggesting he can still be a difference-maker when healthy.
