Mac Jones was a starter in New England for his first two years, but it’s clear he needs some more seasoning. By acquiring Rodgers, the Patriots would give Jones a couple of years to sit and learn more about the game while developing his craft.

The first-round pick isn’t as high as the Jets or the Raiders, but it will do. That will cost them another second-rounder to make up for the difference. For the second straight season, Green Bay would have two firsts and two seconds to work with.
