Bold predictions for Packers’ offseason: Cobb, Tonyan, Lowry, Reed, and Barnes walk in free agency

Whether the Packers rebuild or retool, they will have to move on from some of their veteran players. That’s the cycle of NFL life and the harsh reality of the business aspect.

Randall Cobb returned as one of Rodgers’ guys when the Packers were trying to smooth things over with their star quarterback. Robert Tonyan hasn’t played well since his breakout campaign in the 2020 season. Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed are veterans who underperformed on the defensive line. Krys Barnes will likely look for a starting spot somewhere in the NFL. For one reason or another, it’s time to move on from each of these veterans.
