The Green Bay Packers face a pivotal crossroads this offseason that will determine their future for years to come.

Of course, there’s the question of what to do with Aaron Rodgers. However, the decision-making tree runs a lot deeper than just their quarterback. They must make a fundamental decision about how they approach the upcoming seasons.

Green Bay has a few options: Dive into a full-on rebuild, re-tool on the fly, or run it back and try their luck with the current iteration of the team. Each version has its pros and cons the front office must weigh.

As they’re charting their course, here are five bold predictions about who will stay and who will go this offseason.

Considering the plethora of decisions the Green Bay Packers face, here are five bold predictions about what’s in store for them this offseason.

Bold predictions for Packers’ offseason: Restructure Jones, Bakhtiari, Clark, Alexander, Smith, Douglas, and Campbell

Regardless of what route the Packers choose, they must get into legal standing with their salary cap. That means touching just about every non-rookie contract on the roster.

Green Bay could re-structure, trade or cut just about any of their veterans, but I predict they’ll re-structure the contracts of Aaron Jones ($10.5 million), David Bakhtiari ($7.5 million), Kenny Clark ($10.4 million), Jaire Alexander ($8.9 million), Preston Smith ($6.3 million), Rasul Douglas ($1.6 million), and De’Vondre Campbell ($2.5 million). All told, that will clear about $47.7  million off their 2023 book.
