Packers’ draft prospects: Bryce Young, Alabama

Young is the consensus no. 1 quarterback in this year’s draft and the favorite to go first overall.

The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner started his sophomore and junior seasons at Alabama, racking up 8200 passing yards, 79 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while completing over 65 percent of his passes. He added another seven touchdowns on the ground.

He’s the best playmaker in the entire draft and teams will be chomping at the bit to draft him. His size is his biggest question mark at 6-foot, but he’s elite in other areas to compensate for it. His football intelligence, vision, and accuracy with the rock are off the charts. He’ll use those skills to build on his game and turn into one of the bright stars at the position.
