Packers’ 2023 NFL Draft Prospects: Top 5 quarterbacks
Packers’ draft prospects: C.J. Stroud, Ohio State
Stroud decided to leave Ohio State early and declare for the NFL Draft. That’s fine with Badgers’ fans.
Although Stroud can use his feet to make plays, he prefers to use them to extend the play and find an open receiver. And there were plenty of them at Ohio State, as they were loaded across the board. He threw for 8123 yards, 85 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in two seasons as the starter.
He’s already advanced in reading defenses and finding the open receiver. He goes through his progressions very nicely and doesn’t get stuck on one guy. His passing accuracy is a major strength of his game.
