Grading Packers’ rookies: First Round

Devonte Wyatt (28th overall):

At 24-years-old, Wyatt was supposed to make an immediate impact on a revamped defensive line. Unfortunatley, he found himself buried on the depth chart and wasn’t able to earn consistent playing time until Lowry went down with an injury. He certainly made an impact over the last quarter of the season and will be in line for an increased role in 2023.

Grade: C

Quay Walker (22nd overall):

Walker’s raw athletic traits are undeniable. He’s strong and flies around the field with reckless abandon. Too reckless. He struggles to diagnose plays and is often way out of position when there’s even a hint of misdirection. He was also ejected twice this season when he inexplicably pushed members of the opposing coaching staff.

Grade: C
