Packers draft prospect to watch: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

Sticking with wide receivers, Ohio Stae’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba is another candidate for Green Bay.

This might be a bit of a stretch depending on how the pre-draft process plays out, but Smith-Njigba would give them a replacement for Randall Cobb and someone who can complement the skills of Watson and Rome Doubs.

He will be a slot receiver at the NFL level. His hands are tremendous and he can win with his quickness on the inside. He caught 95 receptions for 1594 yards and nine touchdowns during his only full season in 2021 (he battled a hamstring injury in 2022). Maybe the Packers will finally give their quarterback a first-round receiver.
