Packers who could be playing final game at Lambeau Field: Robert Tonyan
The Packers’ tight end position could be in flux depending on what Lewis and Robert Tonyan do. Tonyan signed a one-year deal to return to Green Bay and boost his free agent status following an ACL tear.
It hasn’t quite gone to plan, as he hasn’t been the same explosive player he showed in 2020. In 16 games, he has 50 receptions for 441 yards and just two touchdowns. His 8.8 yards per reception is by far a career-low.
Tonyan could be looking for a nice contract next season and that’s something Green Bay can’t give him. They’ll be scratching for every penny and he might not be in the budget.
