Packers who will make or break game: Jaire Alexander

Jaire Alexander has been on a hot streak of late. He’s faced several star receivers with his performance against the Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson garnering the most attention. His test won’t get much easier this week.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is quietly one of the better receivers in the NFC. He has 100 receptions for 1112 yards and six touchdowns this season.

He does a lot of his work from the slot, and it will be interesting to see if Alexander follows him there. Alexander could cite his work against Jefferson as a reason for defensive coordinator Joe Barry to move him inside. Even if he stays on the outside, D.J. Chark is a deep threat that needs attention. The Packers need another shutdown performance from the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.
