Bold Prediction 2: Packers control the game on the ground

To offset Jefferson’s big game, Green Bay needs to control the clock and keep Minnesota’s high-powered offense on the sideline. That’s where Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon come into play.

The duo has been heating up recently, and it’s time Matt LaFleur and the offense lean on them even more heavily. Far too often, Green Bay has gone away from the ground game and has fallen in love with the pass. That’s been more tolerable the last few weeks when Christian Watson has been setting the world on fire. However, his status is up in the air for Sunday.

Jones and Dillon complement each other nicely and can each have a different type of impact in the running game. Green Bay will use them run down the clock, play keep away, and keep the ball moving.
