Winners and Losers from Packers’ Week 13 victory over Bears
The Green Bay Packers not so humbly beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday, keeping their postseason hopes alive.
They were trailing 16-3 midway through the second quarter and had fans in a frenzy. It was an all too familiar story–Green Bay’s defense was struggling to stop the run, giving up a 55-yard touchdown run to Justin Fields with three minutes to go in the first quarter.
They also gave up several big chunk plays through the air (two allowed by Jaire Alexander, the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL).
Christian Watson’s hot streak continues and AJ Dillon carries the load. Here are our winners and losers from the Green Bay Packers’ Week 13 victory.
Meanwhile, Green Bay’s offense was stuck in the mud. They only put up three points until the final 20 seconds of the second quarter. That’s when Christian Watson struck again with a 14-yard touchdown reception from Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers were still down by nine points entering the final quarter. That’s when the offense came to life and the defense made some timely plays.
Let’s check in on all the winners and losers from the Packers’ Week 13 victory over the Bears.
