Aaron Jones

This would be another difficult pill for Green Bay to swallow. Aaron Jones has been nothing short of amazing this season and has been the consistent bright spot on offense. His ability to break tackles, see the hole and be a dynamic threat in the receiving game has been a huge asset. Even at 4-8, there’s no saying where the Packers will be without him.

That brings us back to that money thing. The Packers would eat $9.5 million if they cut him, but would save $10.5 million on next year’s cap. This move would be purely financial and would signal a full rebuild for Green Bay. It’s made more difficult by AJ Dillon’s struggles all season.
