Aaron Rodgers

This would be a very difficult maneuver to pull off due to Aaron Rodgers’ contract status. He is guaranteed nearly $60 million in salary next season and the Packers have no realistic path to cut him even if they wanted to.

Crazier things have happened.

We’ll likely get an extended look at Jordan Love to end the season. And if his appearance against the Philadelphia Eagles is indicative of anything, he could show a lot of potential. The Packers will be hard-pressed to field a competitive team next season, given all their salary cap constraints. Would they bite the bullet for one season to move on to Love?
