8 Packers who could be playing final games with Green Bay
Mason Crosby
Mason Crosby has had a great Packers’ career that has been soured by horrible special teams play the last two years.
After missing a career-high nine field goals last year and two extra points, the Packers brought in Rich Bisaccia as the new special team’s coordinator. Life has improved under Bisaccia, but there is still a lot of work to do. Crosby has connected on 81.3 percent of his field goals this season–on course with his career average.
At 38-years-old and with no contract next season, the stars might be aligning for Crosby to walk into the sunset after salvaging some of his reputation. He doesn’t have the same leg strength as before and may be ready to call it quits on a great career.
