After a rough start to the season and the game, Green Bay Packers’ wide receiver Christian Watson stepped up in a much-needed way.

Watson, very similar to how he began the year, dropped the first pass that came his way against the Dallas Cowboys. This wasn’t going to be a 70-yard bomb like in Week 1, but it would’ve given the Packers a first down and kept the chains moving. Instead, their momentum was haulted and they were forced to punt following a second, much more difficult drop from Watson.

The rookie didn’t bury his head, nor did Aaron Rodgers or Matt LaFleur ostracize him. They chose to rally around him instead and continued to involve him in the gameplan like they had prepared for all week long.

Here are three heroes from the Green Bay Packers’ fourth-quarter come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys that snapped their losing streak.

Watson rewarded their belief in him with a career-game that included four receptions for 107 yards and three touchdowns. He continued to make play after play and showed off the incredible speed that makes him such a weapon with or without the ball. Hopefully, more performances like this are in store.
