CJ Stroud, Ohio State

Wisconsin fans are all too familiar with Stroud, watching him dominate the Big Ten over the last couple of years. He’s a redshirt sophomore starting his second year at Ohio State and is the highest-rated quarterback prospect on most draft boards.

His size and mobility instantly stick out. He stands 6-foot-3 and 218 pounds, but is very agile and fast for his size. This causes defenses problems both in the pocket and outside of it. Unlike Levis, he anticipates throwing windows and has good arm strength and accuracy to put it on his receivers. His decision-making and ability to diagnose defenses are also a strength.

Next. NO, the Packers should not bench Rodgers. dark

His mechanics still need refinement, particularly his footwork. He also has a long release which can cause him trouble at times. Furthermore, he could use his elite mobility more to his advantage instead of always relying on his arm–an oddity for college and young quarterbacks.
