Shoot, let’s swing for the fences while we’re here.

The Packers not only get Moore, but also fleece the Panthers for outside linebacker Brian Burns as well. This would create even more financial difficulties, but would be an amazing on-the-field product.

Burns would start over Preston Smith on the edge and give the Packers the best one-two punch at outside linebacker in the NFL. However, Smith would still be a significant part of the rotation and would immediately give Green Bay a legit three-man rotation.

In return, the Packers give up a first and second-round pick in next year’s draft plus a fourth-rounder in 2024. Essentially, it’s Rodgers and a first (our initial deal) for Moore, and a second and fourth for Burns.
