The Green Bay Packers are far from a finished product and have shown good signs of development through the team’s first three games. However, they must find more playing time for key players if they want to continue on that trajectory.

After an offseason that saw the Packers make many difficult personnel decisions based on money, they appear to have filled the void with a much-needed impactful draft class. Green Bay has rookie contributors at multiple positions and needs to utilize them more moving forward.

Here are three Packers who deserve more playing time.

These three players on the Green Bay Packers deserve more playing time heading into their Week 4 matchup against the Patriots.

Packers who deserve more playing time: Zach Tom

Green Bay’s weak link on the offensive line is right guard Royce Newman now that Elgton Jenkins and David Bakhtiari are back in the lineup. Newman battled with Zach Tom and Jake Hanson for the starting right guard spot throughout training camp, ultimately winning the job. However, Green Bay must re-open the competition to get their best linemen on the field.

Tom has been sharp every time he’s been called upon in training camp, preseason, or the regular season. The Packers should allow him to take the right guard job over full-time and improve their offensive line.

Packers who deserve more playing time: Kinglsey Enagbare

The Packers have a major depth problem at outside linebacker. Rashan Gary and Preston Smith are playing incredibly well, but they can’t sustain the heavy load they’ve been carrying the first three weeks. The team desperately needs someone to emerge from lower on the depth chart.

Insert Kinglsey Enagbare. The 2022 fifth-round selection only played 14 total defensive snaps the first two weeks before getting on the field for 23 plays last week. More of that, please. He’s been solid in all aspects and has earned more playing time. Hopefully, the coaching staff acquiesces.

Packers who deserve more playing time: Romeo Doubs

This may seem odd considering Doubs was on the field for 55 snaps against the Buccaneers, but Green Bay needs to play him at least that much if not more when they get Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins back as well.

Doubs is a play-making machine at wide receiver, showing off strong hands and shiftiness after the catch. He also has the speed to separate from the defense and get open on routes. Aaron Rodgers is also starting to trust him, which is a great sign for Doubs’ development.
