The Green Bay Packers face a pivotal Week 2 matchup when the Chicago Bears head to town in a primetime contest. Some might even say it’s a must-win.

The Packers lost in a disappointing fashion to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 and are looking to bounce back in a major way. They should be a bit healthier with Allen Lazard expected to play and Elgton Jenkins and David Bakhtiari listed as questionable. Getting even one of those three back would be a huge lift.

Chicago is coming off a nasty victory over the San Francisco 49ers in which the rain played a huge role. It’s challenging to figure out what that game meant, but the most critical part for Chicago is that they are 1-0.

With Green Bay looking to get back on track, here are three bold predictions about what this game will bring.

Here are three bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers’ pivotal Week 2 matchup against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field.

Darnell Savage Jr. has an interception

Bears’ quarterback Justin Fields isn’t exactly known for his accuracy. What he is known for, however, is his running ability–and it’s those legs that will factor into a Darnell Savage interception.

Justin Jefferson torched Green Bay last week after multiple communication breakdowns in their zone defense that allowed the star receiver to run free. Although a switch to man coverage is warranted, the Packers will likely stick in that zone defense due to Fields’ legs. Playing zone will allow their defensive backs and guys in coverage to keep their eyes on Fields and target him when he takes off. Because of that, I fully expect a pass or two to sail over a receiver’s head and right into the waiting arms of Savage.

Rashan Gary has two sacks

Chicago’s offensive line got torched last week and gave up a bunch of pressure. Meanwhile, the Packers pressured Kirk Cousins a lot even if they could only bring him down once. Combining the two factors will sway heavily in the Packers’ favor and Rashan Gary won’t continue to miss. Gary will take advantage of an early Packers’ lead and bring Fields down at least twice.

Christian Watson has a 20+ yard touchdown reception

Christian Watson’s dropped 75-yard touchdown last week changed the entire complexion of the game even though it was just the first play. However, he played a lot of snaps and was open a bunch of times (even if he rarely saw the ball thrown his way). His size and speed combination is impossible to ignore and he’ll break free again on Sunday night. This time, he won’t drop it.
