Green Bay Packers’ stock report: Market crashes after ugly loss to Vikings
Packers’ stock report: Trending Down
Dean Lowry (-1.9), Christian Watson (-1.9), Jon Runyan (-1.7), TJ Slaton (-1), Devonte Wyatt (-0.8), Krys Barnes (-0.7), Eric Stokes (-0.6), Jordan Love (-0.6), Josh Myers (-0.6), Robert Tonyan (-0.6), Tyler Davis (-0.5), Marcedes Lewis (-0.5), Sammy Watkins (-0.4), Preston Smith (-0.3), Randall Cobb (-0.2), Pat O’Donnell (-0.1) and Royce Newman (-0.1)
Watson’s drop is the obvious one that hurts him in this category. That was going to be a walk-in 75-yard touchdown and immediately set the tone for the Packers’ offense. It’s also painful to see the only two Packers’ veteran receivers in this category. Green Bay needs more from them if Rodgers relies on his “trust” with receivers instead of their natural skill.
I thought they were a little harsh on Love’s only series (he didn’t qualify for enough snaps to be ranked among the graded players). McDuffie, Garvin, Wyatt, Barnes, and Davis were the others who didn’t qualify based on snap count.
Defensively, Stokes had a poor start to the season–I’m surprised his grade wasn’t a lot lower. It felt like Dean Lowry played better than this as well.
