Underwhelming performances: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers finished the day 22-for-34 for 195 yards, one interception and one fumble lost. It would’ve looked a lot different had Christian Watson caught a wide-open bomb that was masterfully dropped right in his hands on Green Bay’s first play from scrimmage, but it is what it is.

Rodgers was clearly frustrated for most of the game and wasn’t his same MVP self we’ve seen the last two years. Green Bay’s offense can ill-afford Rodgers to have off games as they lack the playmakers to make up for him.

In addition to the turnovers, there were a couple of baffling plays by the veteran quarterback. He held on to the ball for too long on several occasions and threw a ball up into double coverage on a key fourth and one in the fourth quarter. It will be a long season for Rodgers if he gets so frustrated at the first sign of adversity.
