Underwhelming performances: Defensive pressure

Sticking with the defensive theme before turning our attention to the offense, the Packers’ defense could not generate consistent pressure on Kirk Cousins. As a result, Cousins had all the time in the world to sit in the pocket and find an open receiver.

The Packers pressured Cousins a few times, but were only able to bring him down in the backfield once. There were far too many times where Cousins could sit in the pocket for five-plus seconds scanning the field for an open teammate. It’s not good if Green Bay can’t get to the quarterback against that offensive line.
