Packers playing final season in Green Bay: Dean Lowry

Green Bay has finally invested in their defensive line and it should pay off in a big way for them this season. Dean Lowry returns after a strong season and has one more year remaining on his contract. Kenny Clark, Jarran Reed, TJ Slaton, Devonte Wyatt and Jonathan Ford make up the rest of the defensive line and should give opposing offenses fits this year.

With the investment in Wyatt, Ford and even Jack Heflin (who is on the practice squad), it will be difficult for the Packers to support re-signing Lowry to a hefty contract. Lowry is hoping for another strong season to boost his chances at a big payday in the offseason.
