Ranking Packers’ rookies: 10. Jonathan Ford

Jonathan Ford was a surprise addition to the Packers’ roster when he made it over Jack Heflin. Ford had a decent training camp and many thought he was a good candidate for the practice squad. However, general manager Brian Gutekunst surprised us all when he kept Ford over Heflin. There’s potential to be a run-stuffer in his future, but he’s unlikely to be active on gameday given the current health and depth of the Packers’ defensive line.

Ranking Packers’ rookies: 9. Rasheed Walker

Green Bay went with ten offensive linemen on their roster and Rasheed Walker was probably the last man they decided to keep. He made it over Caleb Jones despite playing in just one preseason game. The good news is that Walker was solid in the final preseason contest and could develop into a decent swing tackle if given some time.
