Green Bay Packers Prediction: Kenny Clark hits 10 sacks for the first time in his career

We saw Kenny Clark being moved around last more a season ago, which led to more one-on-one opportunities in that five-tech alignment rather than playing as the nose tackle, something Clark has done often in his career and taking on double-teams.

The end result was Clark tallying the most pressures of his career, according to PFF.

Now equipped with an interior defensive line rotation that is five players deep and, as I just said, the best that the Packers have had in some time, Clark should have more of those same opportunities in 2022, and somehow, less attention on him with defenses having to worry about Gary, Preston Smith, Jarran Reed, TJ Slaton, and Dean Lowry.

And like Gary, Clark will also benefit from what could be a lockdown secondary.

Clark enters the 2022 season with eight sacks in 2019 being his career high, but for the reasons mentioned, I think he hits 10.

Green Bay Packers Prediction: Mason Crosby bounces back and makes 90%-plus of his FG attempts

Just like with the rest of the special teams unit, 2021 was a down year for Mason Crosby as well, who hit just 73% of his field goal attempts, including nine misses.

However, in Crosby’s defense, there was also some very poor blocking, inconsistent holds, and sub-par snaps. In short, not every miss was 100% on him.

With what hopefully ends up being an improved special teams unit overall under Rich Bisaccia, I think we see Crosby bounce back as well to his regular form.
