Packers aren’t out of the woods with David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins

David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins look like they’re on track to play Week 1, an encouraging sign for an offensive line with a ton of young, raw talent.

However, the Packers aren’t out of the woods with their star tackles quite yet. It’s been a long road to recovery for Bakhtiari and we don’t know how his body will respond to the physical demands of an entire season. That’s probably why the Packers kept ten offensive linemen and brought Caleb Jones back to the practice squad. Green Bay is fortunate to have excellent depth that includes Yosh Nijman as the primary backup and Zach Tom waiting in the wings.
