If the Packers want to keep their 53 best players on their roster, they’ll create room for second year pro Jack Heflin.

Heflin came out of nowhere last season to make the team as an undrafted free agent and he’s making himself impossible to ignore once again. The Packers came into training camp with the top five guys decided, but Heflin is making the front office and coaching staff think. Everyone is healthy right now, but they’re one injury away from wishing they had him on the team. He won’t clear waivers so might as well keep some extra depth at a physical position.
