Underdogs to make Packers’ roster: Jack Heflin

Jack Heflin deserves to be on an NFL roster somewhere. The only question is: Will it be in Green Bay?

The Packers have great depth along the defensive line and will likely only keep five to begin the season. Heflin is probably ahead of Devone Wyatt if we’re being honest, but there’s no way they’ll keep Heflin over a 2022 first-round pick. It’s unlikely Green Bay stays healthy at this position all season long so they are probably best off keeping Heflin, as he’s clearly one of their 53-best players.
