Packers with bright futures: Tyler Goodson

With the Packers placing Kylin Hill on the regular season PUP list, he’ll miss at least the first four games of the season. That opens the door for another running back to step up and claim the third spot.

It was Patrick Taylor’s job to lose entering camp, but it has quickly turned into a two-man battle between Taylor and Tyler Goodson. Goodson has better pass-catching and running ability than Taylor, giving himself a foundation to work with. There are huge strides in his game (such as pass-blocking) that he needs to improve, however, he’s proven he can be a playmaker with the ball in his hands.
