Packers on their last life: Patrick Taylor
It’s been an up and down training camp for Patrick Taylor, as he’s battled injuries and undrafted free agents Tyler Goodson and BJ Baylor.
Taylor was the Packers’ third running back last year after Kylin Hill went down with a season-ending injury. Hill still isn’t back and has been working on the side with the rehab group, as he’s still on the PUP list.
That’s kept the door open for Taylor, but he must beat out Goodson for the job. Goodson has flashed in his first two preseason games and a strong performance in the finalé could nudge him ahead. Taylor needs to keep his eye on the prize and earn the final running back spot before Hill returns.
