Packers we’d like to see more of: Patrick Taylor
After Tuesday’s joint practice with the Saints, Aaron Rodgers discussed the need to get their 11 best players on the field and how that includes top running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Green Bay didn’t run a lot of two-back sets last year, but that looks like it will change dramatically in 2022.
If the Packers run two RB sets, they might be tempted to keep four running backs on the roster. Jones and Dillon are the obvious locks, but there are plenty of question marks behind them. Patrick Taylor was the front runner entering training camp, but he’s probably been surpassed by Tyler Goodson. With Kylin Hill still on the PUP list, it’s now or never for Taylor if he wants to make the roster.
