While plenty of players are excelling at training camp, several Green Bay Packers are struggling to get recognized by the coaching staff.

With 90 players on the roster (and an imminent trim down to 85), it can be hard to separate yourself from the pack. A lot is going on at every position as the coaches are trying to determine who is worthy of a roster spot and what the depth chart should look like. That means some players get lost in the shuffle.

That’s been especially true for these three players who have failed to make the expected impact in training camp so far.

There is growing concern about these three players on the Green Bay Packers who have disappeared from training camp in recent weeks.

Packers who’ve gone missing at training camp: Sean Rhyan

The Packers have a third-round pick problem–they’ve drafted dud after dud in that round for over a decade now. It’s extremely premature to place Sean Rhyan in that category, but the 2022 third-rounder has been very quiet in training camp. He’s had every opportunity to upend incumbent Royce Newman at right guard, but he has seen Jake Hanson leapfrog him. That’s led to Rhyan getting all of his snaps with the second and third teams while fellow rookie Zach Tom has flirted with the starting unit.
