Darkhorse candidates to make Packers’ roster: Kobe Jones, OLB

Green Bay has an all-out battle taking place for the backup outside linebacker positions behind Rashan Gary. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.

Randy Ramsey, Jonathan Garvin, Tipa Galeai and La’Darius Hamilton appeared to have the edge heading into training camp. Rookie Kinglsey Enagbare has also come on strong and is making a legit push to be third on the depth chart.

However, we shouldn’t count out Kobe Jones, as he has quietly improved throughout training camp. In his first preseason game, Jones had a sack, a tackle against the run, and two more tackles on short gains. If he continues to play well, he’ll muddy the waters even more.
