Darkhorse candidates to make Packers’ roster: Tyler Goodson, RB

The Packers have their top two running backs locked in. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon form one of the best one-two punches in the NFL and we probably won’t see them much this preseason (they already sat the first game).

The battle for the third, and probably final, running back spot is in full force. Patrick Taylor was considered the clear favorite with Kylin Hill still on the PUP list. However, he’s struggled with injuries of his own. Tyler Goodson has capitalized on the opportunity and had a monster performance against San Francisco. If he keeps it up and Taylor struggles with injuries, the third RB spot might be his.
