Bold prediction for Packers’ positional groups: Inside linebackers

The Packers have also overhauled their inside linebacker position over the last two years. They added De’Vondre Campbell as a free agent last season before signing him to a contract extension worthy of his 2021 breakout campaign. Then they used their top draft pick on Quay Walker this year.

With Campbell as the unquestioned starter, I expect Green Bay to get creative with how they use Walker. He’s too good and too athletic not to be on the field. Whether at outside linebacker or even in the slot, I’m curious to see what defensive coordinator Joe Barry comes up with.
