Bold prediction for Packers’ positional groups: Outside linebackers

Rashan Gary is a prime candidate to become the breakout star of the entire NFL. His game took leaps and bounds last season as he transitioned to a full-time role and the arrow is only pointing up for the former first-round pick. Preston Smith also had a rebound season in 2021, earning him another year in Green Bay.

However, there are plenty of questions after those two, as they have a roster full of unproven players. With guys like Randy Ramsey, Jonathan Garvin, Tipa Galeai and Kingsley Enagbare fighting for the third outside linebacker spot, there’s not much to love. Don’t be surprised to see the Packers sign a veteran free agent with a few financial resources at their disposal.
